Environmental policy

Environmental policy forms an important part of sustainable development strategy of T-Mobile. Respect towards the environment is one of our basic ethical values we share with other members of the Deutsche Telekom Group.

To be able to continue accomplishing our mission in the area of telecommunications services and customer care, we need to focus our attention particularly on the protection of the environment which is continually affected by our activities. The members of our company’s management have therefore set the following environmental mission statement:

For this reason, T-Mobile has committed to adhere to the following principles:

T-Mobile operates its facilities and carries out its activities in accordance with the environmental laws and regulations in force.

T-Mobile strives to be the leading telecommunications operator in the Czech Republic in terms of the improvement of the quality of environment by minimizing waste and emissions, re-using and recycling, reducing the use of natural resources and supporting the efforts to prevent pollution within the company.

T-Mobile regularly reviews the environmental aspects and sets targets and programmes for a constant improvement of the environment in compliance with its sustainable development strategy.

T-Mobile´s employees are trained to adhere to the environmental laws, regulations and procedures in force at work, to be aware of the benefits of the environmental protection and accept personal responsibility for the environmental protection.

T-Mobile cooperates with its customers in determining and meeting their environmental needs and targets in accordance with the company’s environmental policy.

All employees of T-Mobile, as well as its external suppliers, have been informed about this policy.
