Marketing approvals
Consent to third-party marketing
The first thing we would like to tell you is that we, i.e., T‑Mobile Czech Republic a.s., with our registered office at Tomíčkova 2144/1, 148 00 Prague 4, Co. Reg. No. 64949681, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, File No. B.3787 (hereinafter referred to as "TMCZ"), are the controller of your personal data.
Why do we need your consent?
You always have the right to choose whether or not to give us consent to third-party marketing. It is only up to you. When you enter into a subscription agreement with us, we will ask you right at the beginning whether you are interested in granting this consent. You can also give your consent electronically if that is easier for you. In this case, you indicate your choice by checking the box provided. This is in the My T‑Mobile application, in the Consent settings section, in the application or on the operator's website. And why do we need your consent? The legal grounds are enshrined in Article 6, Para. 1, letter (a) of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR").
What personal data do we process?
The data that we will process with your consent include: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, address, billing and payment data, information about the services and devices used, socio-demographic data, communication with us, metadata and cookies.
Why do we process personal data (the purpose of the processing)?
We process this data primarily so that we can later offer you, for example, a product or service that we think might be useful to you.
Because we want to be more and more useful and make your life easier, your personal data and their analysis (using data to make anonymised and aggregated analyses) will allow us to develop our services so that they are truly excellent. However, they can also be suitable for public purposes, such as traffic planning, parking, etc.
Who do we work with?
We process your personal data so that we can offer you the products and services that will suit you best. We are also happy to expand your horizons with offers from our business partners. But only the most interesting ones. However, such offers will always be sent by us, never by our business partners.
But we cannot always manage everything ourselves. Therefore, we also use personal data processors. Of course, when processing your personal data, we only cooperate with those (for example, a call centre that offers goods on our behalf) with whom we have a corresponding agreement on the processing of personal data.
How long can we process your data?
We process your personal data for a period of two years from the termination of the contractual relationship or until you withdraw your consent.
Finally, we would like to emphasise again that your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. You can find an overview of the granted consent in the My T‑Mobile application, where you can further manage the consent (revoke or grant it again). You can also grant or revoke consent using the contact form, by phone, at the TMCZ Customer Centre and also in the TMCZ store. As soon as you let us know that you no longer agree to the processing of your personal data, we will complete this process as soon as our technical and administrative capacities allow.
Further information on the processing of your personal data can be found here: https://www.t-mobile.cz/ochrana-udaju.

Consent to the processing of traffic and location data for third party marketing purposes
The very first thing we would like to tell you is that we are the controller of your personal data. "We" means T‑Mobile Czech Republic a.s., having its registered office at Tomíčkova 2144/1, 148 00 Prague 4, company ID number: 64949681, registered in the Commercial Register administered by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. B.3787 ("TMCZ").
Why do we need your consent?
You always have the right to choose whether or not you give us your consent to the processing of traffic and location data for marketing purposes, including profiling. It is simply up to you. If you are entering into a subscriber contract with us, we will ask you at the outset whether you wish to give us your consent. You also have the option of giving your consent electronically if this is easier for you. In this case, you indicate your choice by ticking the box provided for this purpose. This can be done in the My T‑Mobile application, under Consent Settings, in the application or on the operator's website. And why do we need your consent at all? The legal ground is enshrined in Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ("GDPR").
What personal data do we process?
The data that we will process based on your consent includes: traffic and location data, name, surname, email address, phone number, address, information about the device used, information about customer segmentation into customer groups (e.g., by preference for using a certain service), billing and payment data, information about the services used, socio-demographic data, communication with us, metadata and cookies.
Why do we process personal data (purpose of processing)?
We process this data primarily in order to be able to offer you a product or service at a later date, for example, including profiling in order to tailor the offer directly to you.
Because we want to be more and more useful and because we want to make your life easier, your personal data and its analysis (using the data to produce anonymised and aggregated analyses) will allow us to develop our services to be really good. But it can also be useful for public purposes such as transport planning, parking, etc.
Who do we cooperate with?
We would also be happy to expand your horizons with offers from our business partners. But only the most interesting ones. Offers will always be sent to you by us, not our business partners.
But we do not manage everything on our own. That is why we also use personal data processors to help. When processing your personal data, we naturally only work with those (for example, a call centre that offers products on our behalf) with whom we have a corresponding personal data processing agreement.
How long can we process your data?
We will process your personal data for as long as you use our products and services and for six months thereafter, unless you withdraw your consent earlier.
Finally, we would like to reiterate that your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. You can find an overview of the consents you have given in the My T‑Mobile application, where you can further manage your consents (withdraw or regrant them). You can also grant or withdraw consent using the contact form, calling the TMCZ Customer Centre and visiting a TMCZ shop. Once you let us know that you no longer consent to us processing your personal data, we will terminate this process as soon as our technical and administrative capabilities allow.
